Famous television personality Melissa Stark reprised her
role as a sideline commentator in the NFL after a 20-year hiatus and has joined
veterans Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth to make a successful team as the
current season of the NFL approaches business end.

Stark was excited about her reentry to familiar terrain. “It’s been awesome. To join such a talented and well-run
group, all I had to do is concentrate on my job because everybody else is doing
their jobs at such a high level,” she said.

Who is Melissa Stark?

Melissa Stark is a television
personality from America who also works as a sportscaster. She is 49 years old and was born on November 11, 1973 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. She is
the daughter of Dr Walter Stark, a medical practitioner. As a young girl, Melissa is said to have developed an interest in football and sports as she attended
games of the Baltimore Ravens, where her father would attend to injured
players.

She studied at the Rolland Park
Country School and later graduated from the University of Virginia. She channeled
her journalistic career along the lines of sports journalism as she worked in the
Virginia Sports Marketing before joining ESPN in 1996. During her stay at the channel,
she was working in the Sunday NFL countdown and was also an on-site host for
the NBA and has also commentated on 
Major League Baseball, NHL and so on.

In 2003, Stark joined the NBC. While
working there, she covered the 2006 winter Olympics and the 2008 Summer
Olympics
in Beijing as a sports correspondent. She is currently working as a
host in the series NFL 360 and returned to the NFL fold in September 2022.

She has been married to Mike Liley since
2001 and has four children with him. The family has settled down in New Jersey.
