Maxx Crosby and Rachel Washburn are expecting a baby girl in October. The couple had announced the news last week. 

“It’s crazy, yesterday was five — I think we got five weeks now. So it’s unreal. It flew by, I’m just super excited. This camp has been super long. Lot going on. Rachel’s [giving] me updates, sending me videos. Frickin’ seeing a baby kick around in her stomach — it’s like the craziest thing,” the Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive end had said.

He and Washburn are expecting their baby girl on October 3. 

“I would say ‘soft’ is a perfect word, especially with having a baby girl; it like pulls (on) their heartstrings even more,” Washburn said. “But it’s like the cutest thing ever watching him be so excited to be a father.”

The 25-year-old Crosby recently displayed his excitement at the Las Vegas facility while talking about what may be the most important day of his life, just one month away.

During training camp, Crosby received frequent updates and videos from Washburn via text that kept him balanced and encouraged.

“I’m just super excited,” Crosby said. “Seeing a baby kick around in her stomach is like the craziest thing. But it’s incredible, it just gives me an extra bit of motivation having a daughter on the way. We’ve been talking about it for so long and finally, it’s about to really happen. I can’t wait until she gets here. We’re going to have a blast, it’s going to be great.”

Who is Rachel Washburn?

Rachel Washburn is Maxx Crosby’s fiancee. She is 27 years old and was born in Hartland, Michigan. 

Washburn graduated from Hartland High School in 2013. She played soccer and captained the school team during her senior year. She also earned all-state honorable mention and all-regional accolades, among other honors.

Washburn then attended the Eastern Michigan University, where she majored in sports management. She also played for the Eagles soccer team until she graduated in 2016.
