Ridhima Pathak is an actor, tv presenter and sports anchor. She is often seen on the screen during the Indian Premier League and other major sporting events. Pathak is also one of the anchors for Sony Ten and Sony Liv in their Tokyo Olympics broadcast in India. 

Ridhima Pathak started as an intern with Radio Mirchi in Pune immediately after her schooling. Her RJ stint did not last long, as she then went on to pursue engineering. She then went on to work as an Analyst for an American company and then a firm in Pune. 

Her first acting role was in the film ‘Pune TC’.

The 29-year-old was one of the most searched queries on Google India at 10.30am on Monday, after the Indian women’s hockey team entered the Olympics semifinal. Ridhima Pathak hosted the show after India defeated Australia 1-0 to enter their first semifnal in Olympic history.

Drag-flicker Gurjit Kaur rose to the occasion when it mattered and converted India’s lone penalty corner in the 22nd minute to surprise the Australians. India had come into the match as underdogs. Australia, the World no. 2, were unbeaten in the tournament so far. They will not face Argentina in the semifinal on Wednesday.

On Sunday, the Indian men’s hockey reached the Olympic semis after 49 years. After the women’s team achieved the feat, Ridhima Pathak analysed the match with Viren Rasquinha, a former India hockey player. Rasquinha is also the director of Olympic Gold Quest, a body that helps Indian athletes prepare for and compete in the Olympics.

In an interview, Ridhima Pathak had said that her dream role would be ‘Simran’ from ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’. The role was originally portrayed by Kajol.

She was also one of the official presenter in the ICC one-day international World Cup in 2019.
