Rondale Moore is a wide receiver who plays for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. He was signed by the Cardinals in the 2021 NFL Draft on a 4-year rookie contract worth $6.92 million of which $3.37 million were guaranteed.

Who is Rondale Moore?

Rondale Moore was born on June 9, 2000, in New Albany, Indiana. He did his high schooling at Trinity High School, where he established himself as a four-star football recruit. He committed to play his college football at Purdue for the Purdue Boilermakers between 2018 and 20. 

In his very first game for the Boilermakers, his 313-yard all-purpose yards broke the record for all-purpose yards held by Otis Armstrong since 1972. In his freshman year, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week four times and, by the end of the season, had recorded 1164 receiving yards and 203 rushing yards as well as 13 combined touchdowns.

At the end of an impressive freshman year, Moore received the Paul Hornung award which is given to the most versatile player in college football. He was also named the first-team All-American by The Athletic. The accolades did not stop here. On December 10, 2018, he was named a First-Team All-American by the Associated Press, and the following day named a First-Team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America. 

On December 12, 2018, he was named the CBS Sports Freshman of the Year.

After declaring for the 2021 NFL draft, Moore was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the draft as the 49th overall pick. He scored his first NFL touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in his second-ever career game, finishing his rookie campaign with 54 catches for 435 yards and a single touchdown.
