FOX Sports pundit Skip Bayless sparked outrage after he appeared to question whether the NFL should postpone the Buffalo Bills‘ pivotal Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals after Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field.

Hamlin, 24, is still in critical condition after collapsing after tackling rival Bengals receiver Tee Higgens and collapsing before being rushed to the hospital.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant,” he tweeted.

Bayless, however, later apologized.
