Vaibhav Arora is an Indian cricketer. He was born in Ambala Cantt, Haryana on December 14, 1997. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler who represents Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket. He was bought by the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2022 auction for the tournament.
Arora picked two key Chennai Super Kings wickets on Sunday. He recorded figures of 21/2 in his quota of four overs.
Arora was auctioned at the base price of Rs. 20 lakh in the IPL auction 2022. However, the bidding price went on increasing in the auction as the 2 times IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders and the 2014 finalist Punjab Kings were competing to grab the player in their team. In the end, he was acquired by the Punjab Kings for a whopping amount of Rs. 2 crore for the IPL season 2022.

The young player is a promising cricketer for the future. He made his first-class debut in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy for Himachal Pradesh. He made his T20 debut in the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Arora was called for the trials after he recorded brilliant performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, five-time champions Mumbai Indians tested the player. KKR decided to buy the player for Rs. 20 lakh at the IPL auction 2021.

Vaibhav Arora replaced left-arm spinner, Harpreet Brar, in the 11th IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. This is the Punjab Kings’ third game in this edition of the IPL, following a thrilling victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first match. In his first match, Vaibhav took his first wicket by dismissing Robin Uthappa. He bagged his second wicket of the match when he dismissed CSK’s all-rounder Moeen Ali.
