Franco Harris, Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers running back in the NFL has died at aged 72. He was known for making a miraculous grab in the AFC
Divisional Playoffs against the Oakland Raiders in 1972. He was the elder
brother of late former footballer Pete Harris.

Franco Harris’ death came days before the Steelers were set
to retire his jersey No. 32 and celebrate the 50th anniversary of
the “Immaculate Reception” at Acrisure Stadium.

Who was Pete Harris?

Pete Harris was an American football player. He is the younger
brother of Pittsburgh Steelers running back Franco Harris. He was born on April
7, 1957 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He played high school football at the Rancocas
Valley Regional High School.

In 1978, Harris was named an All-American safety at Penn
State University, when he led the country with 10 interceptions.
