Aftab Pureval, mayor of Cincinnati, just trolled Patrick Mahomes ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals, insisting Joe Burrow has the KC star quarterback’s number completely.
Pureval poked fun at the Kansas City signal-caller in a video posted on his social media page just two days before the Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship game.

In the video, the major jokingly says officials asked Burrow to take a paternity test to determine if he’s Mahomes’ dad since the Cincinnati quarterback is 3-0 in his career against Patrick.
Pureval then recalled the Bengals’ 27-24 AFC title game win last season and proclaimed January 29, 2023, as “They Gotta Play Us Day” in Cincinnati.

There is no doubt that the mayor has every reason to relish, as the Bengals have found both regular season and postseason success against Mahomes and the Chiefs. The Bengals are considered by many to be the favorite on Sunday.
Pureval, 40, was the first Indian-American to be sworn in as Mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio.

For the second consecutive season, the road to the Super Bowl will pass through Kansas City in the AFC. The Bengals will be the ones looking to keep the Chiefs from making another big-game appearance for the second straight season.

A year after beating Patrick Mahomes & team to face the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, Cincinnati Bengals entered this year’s AFC Championship Game with lots of momentum.
