Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James suffered a 119-108 loss against the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals Game 3 on Saturday. The two teams locked horns at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Nuggets now lead the seven-game series 3-0. The two teams play Game 4 in Los Angeles on Monday.

Several social media users have declared that LeBron and co are going to lose the series. The Lakers have never won a playoff game after going down 3-0. They will need an extraordinary effort to make history.

On Saturday, Jamal Murray of Denver started off strong. The Canadian, who scored 23 points in the fourth quarter of Game 2 in a close 103-108 win, managed to finish the first half with 30 points. He scored 17 in the first quarter.

The 26-year-old eventually cooled down. He, however, finished the game with 37 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic added 24 points and eight assists in the Game 3 win. One more victory and the Denver Nuggets will move to the 2023 Finals where they will play the winner of the Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat match-up.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was one more star of Denver’s win. He managed 12 points in the first half. Michael Porter Jr. had 14.

“I learn a lot about this team every time we play. We have that dog mentality where no matter if we’re up, down, we’re going to continue to fight and play our game, and do it at a high level. We’re going to continue to do that for the rest of these games,” Caldwell-Pope said.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 28 points. LeBron and Austin Reaves had 23 each.

James left the court early seeing his side go down.
