Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova will be competing for a record payout in the Wimbledon women’s singles final. The women’s singles tournament, which had 128 players when it began in London a fortnight ago, is now down to two competitors, Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova, who are competing for the Venus Rosewater Dish.
The women’s singles final is taking place on Centre Court. Jabeur, who lost to Elena Rybakina in the championship match last year, will look to avenge that loss, while unseeded Vondrousova will seek her place in history.

The four Grand Slams, which are the biggest tennis tournaments of the year, not only provide winners a spot in tennis history but also a substantial cash prize. Wimbledon will have a huge reward in 2023.
In 2023, Wimbledon will award an all-time high of 44.7 million pounds ($57.29 million) in total prize money, which is 11.2% higher than what was given out in 2022. The objective is to “return the singles champions and runners-up prize money to the levels in 2019 prior to the pandemic whilst, alongside, providing deserved support for players in the early rounds of the event,” Ian Hewitt, chairman of the All England Club said, who made this statement earlier this month before the tournament began.

The US Open, where the winners from the previous year received $2.6 million apiece, offered the biggest reward.
