The BSE Sensex is currently at 61,013.50, up 276.45 points or 0.46 percent. The Nifty50 is now trading at 18,265.65, up 103.90 points or 0.57 percent. Nifty Bank is up 0.49 percent at 38,825.00. The Mid-cap Index has increased by 0.97 percent.
The biggest gainers include Wipro, Adani Ports, Grasim, IOC, and Larsen & Turbo. The biggest losers include Coal India, Eicher Motors, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, and Tata Motors.
Despite trimming gains, Nifty IT, Metal, PSU Bank, and Realty stocks remain positive. The Nifty Auto and Media stocks continue to be under pressure. 31 of the 50 equities traded on the BSE gained, while 19 fell.
National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco), Bank of Baroda (BoB), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), Idea, Sun TV, and Steel Authority of India (SAIL) remain among the stocks/securities that have been placed on the National Stock Exchange's futures and options (F&O) ban for trade on Thursday, October 14, 2021.

The Gold prices on Multi commodity exchange (MCX), marginally decreased on Thursday, October 14, 2021. The Gold futures were trading at Rs 47,820.00 down 96 points or -0.2% per 10 gms in the Indian market. In global markets, gold was priced at 1,788.59 USD per Troy ounce. Platinum declined -0.39% to $1,020.00 while Palladium dropped -0.19% to $2,110.50. Silver futures were trading at Rs 62,531.00 down 356 points or -0.57% per Kg.
