Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, on Wednesday, lashed out at paparazzi for clicking pictures and invading their privacy. The actor, in an Instagram story, posted a publication's post and name-called them for doing the opposite of what she had requested them to do, respect their privacy.
“Despite requesting the said photographer and the publication, they still continue to invade our privacy. Guys! Stop this right now!”
According to reports, Anushka is currently at her mother's place along with husband Virat Kohli, who returned from Down Under for the birth of their child.
The 32-year-old actor, who often finds herself in middle of controversy whenever Kohli fails to perform, has time and again slammed the trollers and people who have criticised her.
In September, the ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actor was at the receiving end of Sunil Gavaskar's distasteful comment that had stirred some controversy. Gavaskar was a part of the commentary team as Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore lost to Kings XI Punjab and the Indian captain did not do well in the match.
Making a controversial comment about the cricketer's practice by referencing a video of Kohli and Sharma playing cricket during the lockdown, Gavaskar had said, "Aur jab lockdown tha to sirf Anushka ki bowling ki practice ki unhone. Vo dikhayi di video me. (He has only faced Anushka's bowling during the lockdown. That's what we saw in the video).
In reply, Anushka, in a long Instagram post, said "That, Mr Gavaskar, your message is distasteful is a fact but I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband's game? “I'm sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commenting on the game. Don't you think you should have equal amount of respect for me and us.”
According to reports, Anushka and Virat are expecting the birth of their firct child during the fag end of January.
