One of the most popular digital payments apps, Google Pay has been removed from Apple’s app store. Although, the online payments app is still listed on the Google Play Store.

This happened a few weeks ago also when after some app users complained about Google Pay on Twitter, it was taken down from the Play Store. However, the issue, due to a glitch, was later resolved by Google.

Meanwhile, the reason due to which GPay was removed from the Apple Stores, is to fix an issue, as the Indian Express quoted a Google spokesperson that the app will reappear online after a while. Currently, the iOS users of the app might be facing payment failures.

“A small number of Apple iOS users might experience persistent payment failures on their transactions. Our teams are working to fix it at the earliest,” the Indian Express quoted the source.

However, the spokesperson added that the users, who are facing any difficulty, can reach out to “Google Pay support through the app for help.”

“The Google Pay iOS app will be briefly unavailable on the App Store; users will be able to see the new app update reappear shortly,’ the cited source said, quoted the Indian Express.

As of now, PayTM will appear on the top for the iOS users, instead of Google Pay on the Apple Play Store.
