Apple in its big fall iPhone event launched new iPhones, AirPods and Apple Watches on Wednesday. The new iPhones will be available to order Friday, and Apple didn’t increase the prices as some analysts had expected.

The smaller model with a 6.1-inch screen is called the iPhone 14 Pro while the bigger model is the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro will start at $999, and the bigger model starts at $1099. That’s the same price as last year’s models.

As CEO Tim Cook announced the new slate of Apple products, many Twitter users share memes and reactions targeting the price and other features of the new iPhones.

Some of the memes were very similar to the ones shared when Apple launched its iPhone13 models with no major changes to the iPhone 12 but still increasing the price for the new models.

“I’m sorry I can’t get over this. So first it was the headphone jack, Apple just made that a thing and it was a big pain for a bit. Now no SIM card so if you’re traveling, you’re forced to pay for international roaming on your eSIM from US carriers?! #AppleEvent,” one user wrote Wednesday reacting to the eSim in iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

The major changes are in the Pro models, which comes will have a brighter display with always-on functionality and the A16 Bionic chip, among many other features. The iPhone Pro’s camera now has quad-pixel sensor with a 48-megapixel resolution, a 65% larger sensor than the one on the iPhone 13 Pro.

Another feature for both the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro models is Emergency SOS via Satellite, which will give the iPhone some connectivity in areas where there are no cell towers.
