In a virtual event, OnePlus launched its brand new 8T model, a phone that will cost Rs 42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The price of the 12GB variant with 256GB storage will be Rs 45,999. The phone, 8.4 mm in thickness, will be available in Aqua Marine green and lunar colours. 

For the ones looking for heavy decked features and style in their phone in between the Rs.40,000- Rs. 50,000 range, OnePlus is a decent way to go.

Along with the 120Hz fluid AMOLED display, the OnePlus 8T will also offer a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, making it a to-go gaming device.

The 6.55-inch FHD+ 2.5D flexible display with support for the HDR10+ standard and A+ display rating from DisplayMate, the phone will offer immersive experiences to the one wanting to consume OTT content actively.

The display will not be a curved one, to avoid unwanted touch and commands. Despite a top left camera module, there is no fingerprint magnet at the back.

The camera rectangular in shape offers a quad-camera setup. A 48MP primary camera,16MP ultrawide lens, 5MP macro lens and a 2MP monochrome camera, waits for the user. The 123° wide angle is the most in a OnePlus device. 

OnePlus 8T’s power comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor, easing multitasking.

A 4,500 mAh battery and support for 65W Warp Charging technology, charging the phone up to 59% in 15 minutes and 100% in less than 40 minutes, has garnered attention.

The 65W fast charger will also be able to charge laptops preventing the consumer from carrying two different chargers for the devices.

OnePlus has also partnered with Fortnite, as the game will run at 90fps on android in a first. The game toolbox will allow the user to access other applications while playing.
