The Summer Game Fest 2023 witnessed some major announcements on Thursday – Spider-man 2, Sonic Superstars, Lies of P, Prince of Persia, and many more exciting games.

The Summer Game Fest 2023 exhibition featured a wide selection of titles from the video game industry. The event included intriguing updates and new looks at highly anticipated games like Mortal Kombat 1, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Alan Wake 2. Attendees were also treated to teasers highlighting the future seasons of popular games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Multiple exciting announcements were also made throughout the showcase, including the reveal of games such as Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Sonic Superstars.
Sony made an appearance at the fest to give an update on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The game’s creative director presented the official box art as well as additional artwork showcasing the characters Kraven and Venom. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on October 20.

Ubisoft took the stage at the Summer Game Fest to reveal the latest installment in the Prince of Persia franchise. Unlike the previously announced remake of The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown provides a 2D action experience reminiscent of the series’ original entries. The game will be available on January 18, 2024.
Following the latest announcement, gameplay footage for Mortal Kombat 1 has been released, exhibiting NetherRealm Studios’ characteristic violence. The game retains the visceral fighting style that players have grown accustomed to while simultaneously dazzling with its highly realistic graphics. Mortal Kombat 1 is set to be released on September 19th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

A new 2D Sonic game titled Sonic Superstars was announced during the Summer Game Fest. The game has vivid and visually appealing graphics, various playable characters, and up to four-player cooperative action. Sonic Superstars will be released this autumn for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
