Actor Akshay Kumar on Sunday shared a teaser from his much-awaited game FAU-G on Twitter and in no time the microblogging site flooded with plenty of opinions and hilarious memes on the Indian alternative to one of the most popular games of all time, PUBG.

“Today we celebrate the victory of good over evil, and what better day to celebrate our Fearless and United Guards, our FAU-G! On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, presenting the #FAUG teaser,” the actor tweeted.

A minute-long teaser of the multiplayer battle royale game is based on Sino-Indian clash at Galwan Valley and shows the Indian Army emerging victorious.

From the look, the action-packed teaser has some serious vibes to it. Although, netizens didn’t seem to happy about it and some even dubbed it as a “copy” of PUBG, which was banned by the Indian government along with 117 more Chinese apps.

Here’s how Twitter reacted:

FAU-G was announced just a month ago and the makers have faced many allegations regarding its development to capitalise on the ban on PUBG.

PUBG, which has more than 600 million downloads and 50 million active players globally, has millions of users, many even addicted to the game, in India.
