Social media giant WhatsApp will come up with a feature that will enable the users to make messages disappear in 24 hours, WABetaInfo reported. The Facebook-owned application currently allows the user to discard messages post seven days.

WABetaInfo is a website that tracks changes and features on the application in Beta. 

Posting pictures on the website of what the new update might look like, WABetaInfo confirmed that WhatsApp won’t replace the seven-day option, the 24 hours will be an addition. 

The update is under testing and will be rolled out on Android, IOS and Windows systems, the report said.

Earlier, WABetaInfo had explained how WhatsApp has been planning on introducing a self-destructible media feature, intended to help sending photos and videos more privately.
