Going by its traditions and the emerging reports, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 13 series in just a few weeks. The upcoming new catalogue of smartphones — that is reported to include the regular model plus the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max — is expected to get a global release in the third week of September.

For the last few years, Apple has been refreshing its iPhone lineup just after the end of the second quarter. Although last year, the entire schedule had to be delayed by a month owing to the COVID-19 situation across the globe, this year the tech giants are expected to stick to the original timeframe.

While there has been a lot of rumour surrounding the upcoming series of sleek smartphones, let’s take a look at everything that is expected of them.

1. DESIGN

This is probably the only department in which we probably have the most information. While the regular iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will feature the same dual cameras at the back, the Pro model is expected to include a triple-camera setup, according to tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee.

The dummy units acquired by Brownlee shows that the phones will be flaunting a larger sensor and the dual cameras on the regular models will be placed diagonally.

Reportedly, the camera module on the regular models include a laser sensor and LED flash.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max might include a LiDAR sensor, similar to the existing pro models.

In another major change, Apple is also intending to shrink the notch on the front of all iPhone 13 phones.

Coming to the screen, the Pro model is expected to support 120Hz refresh rate.

2. Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, all the models will include faster 5G connectivity support, Wi-Fi 6E.

3. Other features

Some other reliable tipsters have suggested that the iPhone 13 models will come with wireless charging, portrait mode for video, and an improved wide-angle lens with auto-focus.
