After his chatbot shocked the world, Sam Altman, the CEO of ChatGPT’s OpenAI, told US Senators on Tuesday that it was crucial to regulate artificial intelligence.

At a US Senate hearing on the effects of AI, Altman stated, “We think that regulatory intervention by governments will be critical to mitigating the risks of increasingly powerful models.”
