Echo Show series, Google Nest Hub Max and Facebook portal by the end of this
year.

Zoom had announced
Zoom for Home platform last month. The platform includes hardware and software tools specially
designed for work-from-home crowd. Almost a month after announcing its new platform,
the video-conferencing platform has announced that it will be available on smart displays starting with Facebook,
Amazon and Google.

It will arrive
on Portal in select regions in September wherein it will leverage the smart
display’s camera technology to automatically keep the user in the frame.
The company said that it was bringing one-touch join meeting functionality to
Zoom meetings, said the company in a statement.

In the United
States, it will arrive on Amazon Echo smart displays beginning with Echo Show
8. Echo Show users can use simple voice commands to join Zoom meetings. Apart
from this, if users have calendars linked to their Amazon Echo device, the
virtual assistant will automatically start scheduled meetings without manually
entering passcodes or meeting IDs.

As far as Google’s smart displays
are concerned, like Amazon Echo Show smart displays, Zoom will arrive on the
Google Nest Hub Max smart display later this year. Google Nest Hub doesn’t have
a front camera. With Google Calendar and Google Assistant integration, users
will be able to use voice commands such as, “Hey Google, join my Zoom meeting”
to join a meeting.
