At least one civilian was killed and three others suffered injuries when a rocket hit a house in Al-Sai district of Kapisa province in Afghanistan.

The incident took place late on Thursday during a clash between the government forces and Taliban, Afghanistan’s TOLO News reported quoting Kapisa police spokesman Shaykh Shurash.

Earlier this week, a barrage of rockets were fired targeting the security forces during Afghanistan’s independence day celebrations on August 19. At least three people, including two members of President Ashraf Ghani’s honour guard, were killed in the attack.

According to reports, 14 rockets were fired in the capital city Kabul. One of the rockets hit compound of the presidential palace, news agency AFP reported.

Rockets were also fired near the palace on March 9 interrupting President Ashraf Ghani’s swearing-in ceremony.
