The Amber Alert issued for the Colorado mother and her two kids, was cancelled after they were found safe. While the police had considered the father a suspect, it remains unclear if he was taken into custody, Denver 7 – an ABC affiliate – reported.  

Authorities in Colorado had issued an Amber Alert for a woman and her two children who were taken by force in a domestic violence incident on Saturday morning. Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Julian Maruffo-Guiterrez, who they believe is possibly dangerous.

Denver police said Francheska Tafoya, 24, and her two kids, 1-year-old Naveana Maruffo and 2-month-old Ramon Maruffo, were taken by force from an address near East 40th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Denver. 

“Can you please help us locate Francheska Tafoya and her two children, Naveana Marrufo and Ramon Marrufo? They were taken by force from the area of E 40th Ave and N Colorado Blvd. Anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts, please call 720. 913. 2000,” Denver Police Department tweeted.

They were last seen around10 am on Saturday morning and police said they may have been travelling in a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban with Colorado temporary plate 4111262, the police said.

Authorities described Tafoya as a 5-foot-2-inch white female who weighs 155 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot white male who has brown hair and brown eyes and weighs 175 pounds.
