Popular Canadian singer-actor Drake and American rapper 21 Savage announced their next project, a collaboration album named “Her Loss”. The announcement came towards the end of the “Jimmy Cooks” music video which was released on Saturday, October 22, on YouTube.

Jimmy Cooks is another collaboration project between Drake and 21 Savage. Sheyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known by his stage name 21 Savage, was seen with Drake at the Morehouse earlier in October, before photos and videos of the pair went viral on several social media platforms.

The pair also announced the release date of their new joint album “Her Loss,” which will be made available for listeners on Friday, October 28.

“Jimmy Cooks” was the two rappers’ collaboration project in Drake’s last album named “Honestly, Nevermind.” The album was released five months ago in June 2022.

However, the announcement of the new collaboration project album was reported earlier when Drake revealed that the music video for Jimmy Cooks will be released on the 30th birthday of co-singer 21 Savage. This was followed by rumours and reports of a potential joint album of the pair before Drake made an unannounced visit to Savage’s concert in Atlanta.

The two rappers have made several collaborations in recent years. “Knife Talk”, “Mr. Right Now”, “Sneakin” and ”Issa” are some of the pair’s most notable works together.

The Jimmy Cooks music video was directed by Mahfuz Sultan. Both rappers can be seen in the video as Drake sings a portion of the opening verse. However, it is yet to be announced that a longer music video with 21 Savage’s verses will be made available later.

Drake, 35, has been the recipient of four Grammy Awards out of 47 nominations till 2021. The rapper has also won 20 Billboard Music Awards in his career. At the 2021 edition of the Billboard Music Awards, Drake was announced as the Artist of the Decade.
