A horrific shooting incident occurred in Brown County, Ohio on Wednesday evening. The incident claimed the life of one individual and left two people injured.

The injured victims were rushed to the hospital. Deputies were alerted to an active shooter at a home on Wahlsburg East Road just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Brown County Sheriff Gordon Ellis. The first responder on the scene was a Georgetown police officer, who was swiftly followed by a Brown County deputy. Subsequent responders soon followed. Law enforcement entered the home and discovered three victims with gunshot wounds.

The first victim, 81-year-old Ralph Neff Sr., was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Zachary Neff, 30, and Margaret Neff, 76, were also found to have gunshot wounds. They are currently in unknown situations after being transported to the hospital via AirCare.

Noah Clifton, a 24-year-old man who was detained on the site, is thought to have been involved in the shooting. Clifton is the grandson of Ralph and Margaret Neff, according to the sheriff.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident occurred in Horry County on Wednesday night. The incident left two people injured after shots were fired. According to the Horry County Police Department, the incident happened on Bombing Range Road in Longs at about 6:48 p.m. The two injured people’s current conditions are still unknown.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident occurred outside a Lewisville Raising Cane resulting in the tragic death of a 17-year-old teenager on Wednesday.

According to police spokesperson Matt Martucci, Lewisville officers were called shortly after 4 p.m. for a shooting in the parking lot of Raising Cane’s, which is situated in the 1000 block of West Main Street. After leaving the area, the suspect started a brief pursuit into Carrollton.

According to Martucci, the suspect ultimately came to a stop and was captured. The department withheld his identification because he was a minor.
