The draw of lots under the online DDA Housing Scheme 2021 for allotment of flats will take place on Wednesday, the urban body said. The flats that are on offer under the scheme are at locations such as Dwarka, Jasola, Vasant Kunj, Manglapuri and Rohini.

DDA put out a statement saying, “The Delhi Development Authority is going to conduct the draw for allotment of flats under the DDA Housing Scheme 2021 on March 10, from 11 am onwards. The draw will be based on a random number-generation system and will be held in the presence of judges and senior officers of the DDA.”

The scheme is online and the general public can watch the live telecast of the draw on computer or mobile phones through live streaming. More than 33,000 applications were submitted till February 16, 2021. The scheme was launched on January 2 with 1,354 flats on offer.

Out of the 1,354 flats on offer, the most expensive ones are worth Rs 2.14 crore in the high-income group category. Most number of flats, 757, have been offered in the middle-income group (MIG) category. Officials earlier said that they received payments from around 22,500 applicants.

The scheme will operate online through newly-developed AWAAS software of the DDA from processing of application to getting the new flats. The number of flats on offer for HIG, low-income group and economically weaker section (EWS) are 254, 52 and 291 respectively, according to the brochure of the scheme.

HIG flats are available in two types, three bedrooms, hall and kitchen (BHK) and two BHK categories, while MIG flats are in the two BHK category.
