A shooting took place just before 6 PM at 1050 Pebble Beach Ct, Geneva in Illinois. At least two people were shot.

As of now, there has been no update regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident was reported in Sacramento. According to Sacramento police, the incident occurred on Tuesday night in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood, killing a man and a woman. The authorities suspect that the incident was a drive-by shooting, but more facts and the purpose behind the incident are unknown.

According to Zach Eaton, a Sacramento Police Department spokeswoman, law enforcement received many reports about the gunshot incident on Tuesday night at around 10 p.m. The shooting occurred at 3900 Clay Street, according to reports. The authorities responded quickly to the reports and launched an inquiry.

Officers arrived on the site and discovered two people inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The authorities promptly rendered aid and requested medical assistance to ensure that the victims received the appropriate medical care.

According to Zach Eaton, this is the eleventh time in less than a week that people have been shot in the North Sacramento neighborhood. The disturbing frequency of these instances emphasizes the importance and necessity of law enforcement’s continuous inquiry.

Eaton in a statement said, “This violence is unacceptable. We need to confront this violence as a community together, We don’t have to live like this.”

Mayor Darrell Steinberg reacting to the horrific incident said, ”The violence we have seen over the last several weeks is not representative of North Sacramento communities. Last night, we passed a city budget with an additional $1 million for violence prevention efforts totaling $3.7 million for the Office of Violence Prevention and a commitment from our Chief of Police to put more officers out on patrol over the next year.”
