The Golden Globes Awards, which has arrived a little late this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, is all set to take place at 8 pm on February 28 (6.30 am on March 1 in IST). The awards function will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who are returning to host the show for the fourth time. This time, Viola Davis, Andra Day, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand, Carey Mulligan, Riz Ahmed, Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldman and Tahar Rahim are up in the race to win the Best Actor and Actress awards. 

Meanwhile, here’s a look at the five most-nominated actors for the Golden Globe Awards of all time:

1. Meryl Streep

Hollywood actor Meryl Streep tops the list of most nominated actors in Golden Globes Awards of all time with 30 nominations. The 71-year-old actor has won eight awards in the Golden Globes for ‘Best Actress’, including for movies Kramer vs Kramer, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, and Sophie’s Choice.

‘The Apartment’ actor Jack Lemmon had been nominated 22 times in the Golden Globes Awards while he had won the Golden Globes’ ‘Best Actor’ award four times. The late actor had won the Golden Globes for ‘Some Like It Hot,’ ‘The Apartment,’ ‘Avanti!’ and ‘Inherit the Wind.’
