  • At 5 pm, the state election commission declared the results for 451 of the 576 seats, with the BJP leading with 367 wins
  • The Congress had won a total of just 58 seats while the AAP made unexpected gains with 27 seats
  • Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani thanked the voters and the party workers for the result

  • The AAP was the second-largest party in Surat winning 27 seats
