After four years of marriage, Mukesh Ambani‘s daughter Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal welcomed twins on Sunday, the family said.

“We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on 19th November 2022. The twins have been named Aadiya and Krishna.

Isha is the daughter of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. She is married to Anand Piramal, the son of industrialist Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal. They tied the knot in 2018.

The couple had an extravagant wedding in which even Beyoncé made an appearance. Both of them went to Stanford University, ultimately gaining an MBA from Harvard.

Since returning to India, Anand has built healthcare and property businesses. Isha became a director at two companies belonging to her father: Reliance Retail and Reliance JIO Infocomm Limited. She has also set up the Reliance Arts Foundation which is focused on promoting Indian art internationally.

Talking to India Today, Isha once said that her husband reminded her of her father. “I remember in one of the speeches that my father gave at my wedding, he listed 10 reasons why he liked Anand. It was hilarious, and dad concluded by saying that these are probably the same 10 things that he would also use to describe himself. And it’s true; in many ways Anand reminds me of my father,” she said.

The Ambanis and Piramals have been family friends for four decades.
