The Florida residence of the ‘Island Boys’ Alex and Franky Venegas was raided by police on Monday and a suspect in a fatal drive-by shooting of an 8-year-old girl was taken into custody, TMZ reported.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told the outlet that a SWAT team executed a search warrant at the residence of the TikTok stars and arrested an apparent associate of theirs who has been identified as Andrew James Thomas.

Alex, who was reportedly at the residence during the raid, told the cops that the suspect ran toward him in a hallway while holding a black handgun. He also claimed that Thomas tried to get him to hide the weapon, but he refused. He added that he saw the suspect get into the laundry room and return without weapon. Following a search, cops found the gun inside the laundry room closet.

Thomas was taken into custody from the residence and booked for gun possession and violation of probation for a separate robbery case. He has also been reportedly booked on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting of a girl in Palm Beach.

Meanwhile, the Island Boys’ manager told the outlet they had no idea Thomas was a suspect in a shooting. Thomas reportedly grew up with the duo.

They say they “just knew him as a quiet kid and he would come and hang out and do his thing and go back to whatever he got going on but we had no clue about any of these allegations toward him.”
