The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) honoured a 5-year-old boy whose video of salute to the paramilitary force went viral a month ago owing to its impassion and dedication.

Five-year-old Nawang Namgyal, a lower kindergarten student in one of the border villages in Ladakh, became an internet sensation after the ITBP shared a video of him saluting jawans to command in October.

To honour him, the force gifted him a custom made ITBP uniform and filmed him doing drill at the camp. The video was captioned “Happy and inspiring again!”.

The original video from October was shot by an ITBP officer, which shows the boy saluting the soldiers who correct his posture and stance.

The official Twitter profile of ITBP had shared this clip and the caption read: “The enthusiastic kid saluting with high josh was randomly clicked by an ITBP Officer on 8 October morning.”

Twitteratis lauded the young boy’s gesture and posted comments like: “Bless this little soldier” and “Such a cute soldier”.
