K-Drama fans will have new and refreshing dramas to look forward to this month. The month of August will see releases of dramas varying from romance, drama, comedy, historical to intense thrillers. Here’s a quick list of K-Dramas to watch this month.

The Road: Tragedy of One (August 4)

The Road will revolve around the affluent family that lives in an apartment called Royal Hills. The show will explore the ambitions guilt, secret, and salvation of the residents of the Royal Hills. Baek Soo-hyun (Ji Jin-hee), a top news announcer with strong journalistic ethics. But he has another darker side unknown to the public that trusts him. He is also the son-in-law of a powerful man who controls the political world of South Korea.

The show was originally supposed to release in July but was postponed to August.

Police University (August 9)

Yoo Dong-man (Cha Tae-Hyun) has been tasked to train the students at Police University. Kang Sun-ho (Jung Jin-young) who was previously a hacker joins the Police academy. Oh Kang-hee (Krystal) also a student at the Police University is a straightforward person with a strong sense of justice.

D.P. (August 27)

Deserter Pursuit, also known as D.P. is based on a webtoon. Ahn Jun-ho (Jung Hae-in) play the role of a soldier who has recently joined the military. He is recruited by Sergeant Park Bum-goo (Kim Sung Kyun) to the D.P. squad. Jun-jo is joined by Han Ho-yeol (Goo Kyo-hwan) to hunt down the deserters.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (August 28)

Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho will make their comeback to the small screen with Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

Shin Min-ah will play Yoon Hye-jin, a dentist who has recently shifted to the seaside village of Gong-jin.

Kim Seon-ho will essay the role of an unemployed man Hong Doo-shik who is always ready to help. Even though jobless, he is the busiest man in the village. He is an expert at odd jobs.

Additionally Hospital Playlist Season 2 and Nevertheless will continue airing in August.
