With India
slowly recovering from an unprecedented COVID surge in the summer, a number of
countries have started accepting visas requests from Indian travellers. Some of
these countries will open their borders for Indians in July and some have not
yet resumed direct flight services.

From South
Africa
to Turkey, here are five amazing travel destinations that are accepting
Indian visa requests and all the details you need to plan your next holiday.

1. Kenya

Kenya has
started accepting online visa applications. You can visit the official website to apply. You can also
check the country’s health-safety guidelines here.

A
single-entry visa is valid for three months from the date of issue. You need a
travel itinerary, return ticket and hotel booking details at the time of the
visa application.

Fee: Single
entry $51; Multiple entry $101 (excluding card handling charges)

2. Zambia

E-visa
applications are now open for Indians over 16 years of age. If someone below
the age of 16 is travelling, their visa needs to be included in an adult’s

Ordinary visitors
and tourists are eligible for a free 90-day visit in any period of 12 months
from the first day of entry into the country. Visitors on business trips are
eligible for a free 30-day visit.

Fee: Single
entry $50; Double entry $80; Multiple entry: $150

3. South Africa

to download South Africa’s visa application form. You will need to visit a VFS
Visa Application Centre to submit the form and complete the application
process.

Fee: There
are no fees for Indian nationals applying for visas. However, there is a
processing fee involved. To get visa applications process from Mumbai and Delhi
is Rs 2,040, while it is Rs 2,301 to process from Gurugram, Jaipur, Kolkata,
Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Goa. It takes a minimum of five working days to
process from Mumbai and Delhi, and seven days to process from other centres.

4. Turkey

Fee: Gateway service fee for visa application for
Turkey is Rs 4,201, while premium lounge service charge is Rs 6,195. The minimum
number of working days to process the application is the following: New Delhi –
4, Kolkata – 6, Mumbai – 10, Bengaluru and Chennai – 11.

All charges
are supposed to be paid in INR and cash only.

Vaccine passport: Vaccine passports are not mandatory currently. Travel
health insurance services are included in the gateway services.

5. Saudi Arabia

Saudi
Arabia accepts visa on arrival for travelers holding a valid US, UK or Schengen
visa (people who have travelled to the visa-issuing country) and are travelling
with the country’s national carrier for tourism.

Fee: The fee for all visit visas, including
e-Visa, visa-on-arrival, Consulate visas, is SAR 300. A new medical insurance, that
covers COVID-19, can be purchased at SAR 180 including tax.

Only travellers above the age of 18 can apply for a visa.
