India all-rounder Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri Pandya welcomed their first child on Sunday. The cricketer announced the birth of the child by sharing photos with his newborn and wife on Instagram and Twitter. He also revealed the name of the boy – Kavir Krunal Pandya’.
Krunal’s brother, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, shared the photo on his Instagram story and captioned it, ‘Love You babies’. Hardik’s wife Nataša Stanković also commented on the post.
Several of the couple’s friends also congratulated the couple.
Shikhar Dhawan commented, “Congratulations to both of you. Lots of love to the little one.”
“Congratulations guys @pankhuriisharma @krunalpandya_official – lots and lots of love to the little one,” Sagarika Ghatge commented.
KL Rahul wrote, “Congratulations to both of you.”

Krunal and Pankhuri tied the knot in December 2017 after dating for several years. Pankhuri has since been spotted on several occasions at the stadium, cheering on for her husband during match. On May 13, 2022, Krunal shared a with his wife, who can be seen trying to cover her baby bump with the help of a dupatta.

Krunal os a left-handed batsmen and slow left-arm bowler, who last represented India against Sri Lanka in July 2021. He has played a total of 5 ODIs and 19 T20Is.
He played for the Lucknow Super Giants franchise in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League after being released by Mumbai Indians (MI).

The 31-year-old has joined Warwickshire for the Royal London Cup One Day championship, which will be played from August 2-23, 2022.
