The Lok Janshakti Party (LPJ) released a list of 42 candidates for the first phase of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections on Thursday, as per ANI report. Rameshwar Chaurasia, Usha Vidyarthi and Rajendra Singh – BJP leaders who joined the party recently will contest elections from Sasaram, Paliganj and Dinara respectively.

Lok Janshakti Party’s candidate for Sheikhpura is Sri Imam Guzali.

The party has decided not to contest the upcoming Bihar elections in alliance with Janata Dal (United) due to ideological differences.

Abdul Khali said, “At the national level and in Lok Sabha elections, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) shares a strong alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).”

The decision, which could be a huge blow to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), was taken during the Parliamentary Board meeting of the party on Sunday.

“After assembly elections in Bihar, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and BJP will form government in Bihar, following the path of development led by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said LJP.
