Cristiano Ronaldo has now finished as the top scorer in the English, Spanish and Italian leagues as the Portuguese talisman finished at the top of the Serie A scoring chart on Sunday.

Ronaldo’s score ended up at 29 goals in the Serie A beating Romelu Lakaku of Inter Milan, who scored five less than the 36-year-old.

While being associated with Real Madrid the player was the top scorer in 2011, 2014 and 2015 in the Spanish La Liga. Previously, in 2008, he secured the Premier League Golden Boot with Manchester United.

The 36-year-old was benched in the Juventus’ clash against Bologna, which ended at a score of 4-1, which secured a top-four finish and Champions League football next season.

“It was a shared choice, Ronaldo was tired after (playing in the Coppa Italia final) Wednesday,” said coach Andrea Pirlo.

However, Ronaldo’s inclusion in Juventus has been in question after the Italian team broke its 9-year-streak of winning Serie A.
