On Sunday, a Minnesota police officer mistakenly fatally shot a 20-year-old black during a confrontation. She meant to use a non-lethal taser instead pulled out the shotgun by mistake.

The death of Wright has triggered protests in the already agitated Minnesota where the trial of fired police officer Derek Chauvin is currently underway. Chauvin is charged with the murder of George Floyd, another black man.
