McDonald’s, American fast-food company, announced its new celebrity meal in collaboration with reggaeton singer Jose Balvin, on Monday.
Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin, who is commonly referred to as Prince of Reggaeton, made the announcement on his Twitter profile.
The meal, which has been titled J Balvin, will include the singer’s favourite items: a Big Mac, medium fries along with ketchup and an Oreo McFlurry.
The combination will go for sale from November 1 and will be available nation-wide, as per a press release by the fast-food chain.
The collaboration meal will be available for dine-in, carry-out, at drive-through and with the McDonald’s application. Price of the meal will vary depending on location.
McDonald’s had previously launched the Travis Scott meal on September 3, 2020.
The Travis-Scott meal had caused shortages in key-ingredients across the nation, as per a CNN report. The Travis Scott meal was available for $6 dollars and included a quarter pounder with cheese with toppings of bacon and lettuce. It was also accompanied by medium fries with BBQ sauce and Sprite.
Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s US chief marketing officer, in a statement, said “He’s always been a regular at McDonald’s restaurants during his concert tours, and now we’re excited to bring his go-to order to our menus across the US.
