American Singer Miley Cyrus and comedian Pete Davidson have recently announced an NBC special event. Airing on New Year’s Eve, the event will be a live telecast from Miami’s biggest party of the year. In a short 30-second teaser, the duo is seen inviting viewers to join the star-studded live proceedings. The event will feature musical performances by various Hollywood biggies like Saweetie, Billie Joe Armstrong, Jack Harlow, Kitty Ca$h and others. More performers will be announced later.

In the invitation teaser, the duo is seen dancing against a party backdrop and having a cheerful conversation, with Pete’s hilarious one-liners adding oomph to the teaser. Titled ‘Miley’s New Year Eve Party’, and hosted by Miley and Pete, the event will air on December 31, 2021, from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am (Eastern Time). The special will air on NBC and be live-streamed on the television network Peacock.

The special will be co-produced by Saturday Night Live’s executive producer and creator, Lorne Michaels, along with many other producers like Lindsay Shookus, Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager, and more.

The special is a successor to NBC’s New Year’s Eve special hosted by Carson Daly. The previous specials have been airing since 2004 until last year.

Pete also recently shared that he and Miley had got matching tattoos back in 2017 when the singer performed at Saturday Night Live. Their tattoos read “we babies”.
