The Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday issued an order to extend the guidelines for re-opening, issued on September 30, as per ANI. The guidelines for reopening will remain in force up to November 30.

The Ministry added that lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the Containment Zones till 30th November, 2020, as per ANI.

The Ministry of Home Affairs further added, that “There shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods.”

It also stated that “No separate permission/approval/e-permit will be required for such movements.”

The Ministry of Home Affairs in September had issued guidelines for permitting more activities in areas outside the containment zones that include opening up cinemas, theatres and multiplexes with up to 50 per cent of their seating capacity from October 15 .

In September, the Ministry had also said that international travel, except those permitted by the Centre, continues to remain shut, while state and UT governments have been given the flexibility to take a decision on re-opening of schools and coaching institutions after October 15 in a graded manner.
