NBC has been hit with a slew of accusations including the exploitation of minors, and covering up sexual violence by a number of reality stars who appear on the network’s affiliate channel, Bravo.

TMZ has obtained a letter from the lawyers representing the reality stars which claims that the stars were subjected to “grotesque and depraved mistreatment” and that they feel tormented. The letter was sent by attorneys Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos to NBC.

Some of the other allegations include the network’s “Deliberate attempts to manufacture mental instability by plying cast members with alcohol while depriving them of food and sleep,” “Denying mental health treatment to cast members displaying obvious and alarming signs of mental deterioration,” and “Exploiting minors for uncompensated and sometimes long-term appearances on NBC reality TV shows.”

NBC has also been accused of distributing and/or condoning the distribution of non-consensual pornography as well as covering up acts of sexual violence. In addition, it has been alleged that the network refused to allow cast members the freedom to leave their shows even when the circumstances turned from bad to worse.

In regards to the pornography claim, the lawyers mention in the latter that the network has been involved in the “distribution of revenge porn.” However, no other explanation after the fact was provided.

The lawyers also claimed that NBC retain a number of information, including “nonconsensual pornography in connection with cast members … [and] alleged sexual violence perpetrated by or against cast members …” NBC also allegedly has “threatened [cast members] with ruin should they decide to speak out about their mistreatment.”
