The Centre on Wednesday banned PUBG and other 117 ‘malicious’ apps, stating that these phone applications were prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India.

PUBG, the most popular battle royale games on mobile, can be enjoyed on PC and consoles as well.

PUBG PC is available to play via Steam. First you need to install Steam, the popular PC game storefront and then follow these steps to get started.

Go to the website, download and install Steam for Windows PC.

Once Steam is installed, open it and sign in to your account. Create a new account, if you don’t have one.

After signing in, click on ‘Add a Game’ in the bottom left corner, click on ‘Browse the Steam Store for Games’, in the search bar, type PUBG.

From there, you’ll be able to purchase PUBG for Rs 999. You just have to click on ‘Add a cart’ and then choose between ‘Purchase for myself’ or ‘Purchase as a gift’. Add a payment method and finally make your purchase.

Once you have the game purchased, you can play PUBG on PC.

How to Play PUBG on PC for Free

If you don’t want to spend Rs 999 fee for PUBG, you can download PUBG Lite, a free version of the game for Windows. To download it on your PC, follow these steps.

Go to the PUBG Lite website by clicking here and click on the yellow download button under PUBG Lite for PC.

On the next page, click on the Yellow Download button to go ahead.

After the setup is downloaded, open it, and log in to your PUBG account. 

After you have logged in, click on the ‘Install’ button. This will install the game on your computer’s local storage.
