Nearly 100 Congress MLAs, who are supporting Rajasthan Chief Minister
Ashok Gehlot, left the from a hotel in Jaipur for Jaisalmer on Friday, reported
news agency ANI. The move comes immediately after it was announced that the assembly session would begin on August 14.

The Rajasthan Congress lawmakers had been staying at a
hotel near Jaipur since former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot revolted against Gehlot. Pilot, along with 18 other MLAs, had rebelled against the government.

The MLAs in Gehlot camp are expected to stay in Jaisalmer till August 14, when the Rajasthan assembly session begins.

Ever since Pilot rebelled against the CM, Gehlot has been trying to save his government and claims to have the majority. He is reportedly
preparing to face a trust vote in the session, which was called by Governor
Kalraj Mishra, after rejecting multiple proposals.

Time and again the 69-year-old CM has alleged that Pilot’s
rebel camp is collaborating with the BJP to bribe MLAs to cross over. The
“rate of MLAs” had gone up since the assembly session was announced,
he said.

Gehlot on Thursday said, “After the assembly
session was announced last night, the rates of horse trading have increased.
Earlier, the first installment was of Rs 10 crore and second was of Rs 15 crore.
Now it has become unlimited and all know who is doing horse-trading.”
