Bollywood actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are in Delhi for their wedding festivities that begin on September 30. They are supposed to be married on October 4 at The Great Eastern Home. Along with being an inter-religious celebrity marriage, it has drawn attention for its creativity manifest for instance in the match box shaped wedding invite that reads “couple matches”.  The couple who first met during the shoot of Fukrey (2013) later went on to star in Fukrey Returns (2017). They are likely to co-star in Fukrey 3 to be released later.

Age and family:

Richa Chadha was born on 18 December 1985 in Amritsar, Punjab. She is 36-years-old. She is the daughter of Somesh Chadha and Kusum Lata Chadha, a professor of political science. She graduated from Delhi’s St Stephen’s college.

Career:

In 2006, she directed and wrote a 20-min documentary titled Rooted in Hope. Chadha made her debut in a supporting role as Dolly in Dibankar Bannerjee directed Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!(2008). Her first notable performance came in the form of Anurag Kashyap’s crime classic Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), where she played the character of Nagma Khatoon. Playing the role of a doughty wife to a mafia don, her performance was critically acclaimed. She reprised her role in Gangs of Wasseypur 2, also released in the same year. She further featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s drama film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram– Leela, an Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. She also appeared as a journalist in the social drama Chalk n Duster. In 2020 she started her own film production company named pushing button studios with Ali Fazal.

According to the website Zee5, she has a net worth of 4 million US dollars. It roughly translates to around 32.6 crore rupees.
