Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, on Monday, posted a video on social media, celebrating 25 years of National Film Award-winning director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actor captioned it with a hashtag – #25YearsofSLB. 

The video, with snippets of the several films Sanjay Leela Bhansali has directed, was also posted by the filmmaker’s production house Bhansali Productions. 

“Each passing day has been an onset of a new beginning. A journey of a thousand miles wouldn’t have been possible without each one of you. As we celebrate #25YearsOfSLB, we relive every moment of curating these handmade films just for you. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey,” the caption read.

The three minutes 48-second video ended with Bhansali’s quote.” I have enjoyed every minute of making films these 25 years and still a long way to go,” it read. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his feature film debut with ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’, on August 9, 1996. He has directed some critically acclaimed films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999), ‘Devdas’ (2002), ‘Black’ (2005), ‘Saawariya’ (2007), and ‘Guzaarish’ (2010).

Ranveer Singh and his wife Deepika Padukone have starred in three Bhansali films – ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) and ‘Padmaavat’ (2018). 

“Hey Sanjay, Congratulations on your silver jubilee. Your contribution to films is unparalleled. And, I love working with you because your passion & dedication is infectious. Will keenly await several more milestones that are meant for you,” actor Ajay Devgn tweeted.
