Siya Kakkar, a teenage TikTok influencer from Delhi, died by suicide on June 24. Her manager Arjun Sarin confirmed the news. The reason behind her suicide is not confirmed yet.
“Rest in Peace. No more words. You will always be the best artist,” posted Sarin with an image of Kakkar.
The news of her death was first reported by Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani.
She had nearly 2 million followers on TikTok and millions of views on her uploads.
Her family has demanded a detailed police investigation into Kakkar’s death. Police said for the last four-five days, she suffered from depression, reported Zee News. She was at home for a few months due to the lockdown.
This tragic incident comes soon after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and earlier his ex-manager. Her death has shocked many and netizens are taking to social media expressing shock.
