The reality show ‘Counting On’ has been officially cancelled by TLC in the wake of Josh Duggar’s indictment on child pornography charges.

“TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On. TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately,” the network said in a statement on Tuesday.

Josh was taken into custody in Arkansas in April this year and booked on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.

The show ‘19 Kids and Counting‘ debuted on the network on 2008 and chronicled the lives of Jim Bob, Michelle Duggar and their children. The show was cancelled in 2015 following sexual abuse allegations against the couple’s eldest son Josh. The network then launched the series’ spin-off ‘Counting On’ that featured storylines focusing on Josh’s sisters and their families.

After TLC cancelled the show on Tuesday, Josh’s sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband Jeremy Vuolo issued a statement saying, “It’s been a remarkable journey that has opened doors to traveling and experiencing the world in a way that we wouldn’t have imagined possible.”

“We wholeheartedly agree with TLC’s decision not to renew ‘Counting On’ and are excited for the next chapter in our lives. We’d like to thank our fans, friends and the amazing film crew who have shown us love and support,” the couple added.
