Amanda Kloots remembered her late, Nick Cordero, on his first death anniversary. Broadway actor Cordero died of COVID complication last year at the age of 41.  He battled the disease for 95 days before he succumbed to it. 

Kloots took to Instagram on Monday to share videos and photos featuring Cordero, herself and their 2-year-old son Elvis.

%u201COne year. Today hurts, there is no other way around it. One year ago you left us and became our angel in heaven. You were surrounded by so much love and Led Zeppelin playing on Spotify-no doubt that was your doing, not mine. What happened was unthinkable, losing you was my biggest fear. I used to tell you all the time, ‘Don%u2019t you dare go anywhere. If I lost you, I don%u2019t know what I%u2019d do,%u201D she captioned the video.

%u201CThere hasn%u2019t been a day this year where you weren%u2019t missed, thought about and talked about. Thank you for being our guardian angel, for sending me signs, for being my DJ in heaven. I know you%u2019re just 2%u201D away. We only had a few short years together but they were filled with so much love, laughter, adventure, dreams, change and growth. It was my ‘Nick era’ and I%u2019ll have it forever,%u201D she added.

Cordero and Kloots, who is a dancer and fitness instructor, tied the knot in 2017 and Elvis was born in 2019. Cordero contracted COVID last March. The following month, Kloots said his lungs were %u201Cseverely damaged%u201D and that his right leg had to be amputated due to blood clots.
