USMNT has so far been the better performer creating a lot more chances than the star-studded English team. Chelsea midfielder and USMNT star Christian Pulisic came close to scoring when his shot from outside the box hit the crossbar and bounced back.

Just as the first half was closing, England came to scoring thanks to a shot by Mason Mount. However, the USMNT goalie Matt Turner pulled off a brilliant save to keep the shot out. Overall, the first half was fairly even in terms of stats with both sides getting only one shot on target.

England kept most of the possession in the match while the USMNT played in a counterattack with the massive pace of Timothy Weah and Christian Pulisic. In spite of the chances that both teams created, the first half ended in a goalless draw with neither team getting a clear-cut chance to score.

Earlier the USMNT Twitter handle posted a message tagging Taylor Swift which said that the team will be make her proud.
